Boy would I like to have a nice long talk w/ him. You're a lucky man.
Rock's book certainly came out way before his, and possibly Phil's too, so his facts are a little skewed.
Nevertheless, I'd like to buy Steve a coupla beers then very respectfully suggest that I think he was pranking everybody with the Frank Sinatra story in his book. Then read his body language to see if i was barking up the right tree or not. My gut tells me the story is total bullshit. (Harmless, but less than factual).

That would not surprise me in the least.

Moonalice plays our street fair/fest every year for the past few years, and usually both days. They will also come back in August to play the West End Celebration in nearby Sand City: http://www.westendcelebration.com/welcome.php

Parish said that they are getting a great response on the Weir Here things he's doing with Bob when he tells "tall tales", which he does before each Moonalice set, and we spoke about maybe doing some streaming from the Golden State Theatre, which would be nice. By all accounts, Bob enjoyed the theatre when he played it with Jackie Greene back in December and Moonalice has an open invite to hang out whenever. http://www.marinij.com/lifestyles/ci_22685598/lib-at-large-weir-here-grateful-dead-style
